This Blend of Brasil and Sumatran beans with notes of Mission Fig, Molasses, and Allspice. Our dark roast contains a blend of Brazilian and Sumatran coffees. It offers a nice balance of sweetness and a smooth body. Works well as a drip as well.
The Cerrado region, the newest of three major Brazilian growing regions, has been building in reputation and production over the last few decades. Located between Sao Paulo and Brasilia, coffee in this region is grown on high plateaus at elevations peaking at just over 1,000 meters above sea level. The region has relatively mild weather patterns providing more predictable climate conditions for processing coffee. This coffee is a natural processed coffee, meaning the beans are dried in their cherry. This process is a more traditional method of processing coffee that needs less water and can produce a sweeter cup.
