Janet D Lyte is a co-fermented grape and apple wine with more of a smooth tarty wine feel than cider.

Grape Skin Varieties: 5%-Mad Marvlus Mad Maxine grape skins, 5%- Carignan grape skins.

Apple Varieties: 50%-Newtown Pippin, 50%-Rhode Island Greening

Production Notes: 25% of the Mad Marvlus Mad Maxine grape skins and 75% of Carignan grape skins from Cox vineyard courtesy of Horse & Plow Wine & Cider were rehydrated with Newtown Pippin and Rhode Island Greening apple juice from Sonoma County. Directly pressed into neutral French oak barrels then racked before bottling in July 2022. Unfined. Unfiltered. 20ppm sulfur added during fermentation.
