Raicilla is an agave spirit with a 400-year-old history. It's the Grandfather of Tequila, Great Grandfather of Mezcal and the purest agave spirit made in Mexico. In the 1780s, the Spanish Crown attempted to tax alcohol, but the people of Jalisco said, "No, this is our medicine. Raicilla." For centuries, it's been made in small batches, using traditional techniques passed down for generations.

100% Maximilliana, aged for 8 years, reveals warm peppery spices combined with raw cacao, giving way to sweet pineapple and caramelized tropical fruit. Its finish is clean, smooth, herbal, and floral, with light smokiness, and hints of citrus and cocoa. Perfect for pairing with citrus and salts, or in place of gin in classic agave cocktails.
