Made by Juan José "Che" Hernández, a second-generation mezcalero with 25 years of experience, following the original recipe of his late father, "Don Che." Part of the Mezcal de Leyendas line, which highlights specific agave species and regions while working directly with mezcaleros on sustainable, fair-trade practices, Maguey Verde is a 100% agave mezcal made from Agave Salmiana, native to Mexico and known for its herbaceous, slightly sweet flavor. Expect a complex aroma of herbs, bell pepper, and chile jalapeño, backed by strong mineral notes and a gentle smokiness.
