Super Fresh Muscat

Super Fresh, 2023 orange muscat frizzante.

This muscat was made in the méthode ancestrale style, but bottled at a lower sugar than most pet-nats giving it a slight effervescence or perlante texture. The nose on it is incredibly aromatic—many people detect stone fruit or pear. The muscat grapes are from Hartwick Vineyards in Lodi, CA. The vineyard is Lodi Rules-certified (a regional, sustainable winegrowing program), however, they go far beyond these certification standards and strive to farm the vineyard as holistically as possible. After treading and pressing the muscat grapes, the juice was given a sound bath prior to bottling, so it’s some high frequency wine!

Bright, zippy, and slightly effervescent, Super Fresh is best chilled.
