Grown in Fujian and hand-processed each spring, this exceptional black tea is made using only the tender bud and first leaf of the tea plant. After careful plucking, the leaves are lightly withered in the sun, then oxidized and dried to preserve their nuanced character.

Named for the pale gold threading that runs through the leaves — and their tight, wiry shape resembling a monkey’s hand — Golden Monkey brews a rich, smooth cup with gentle complexity.
