Distilled by Melly Cárdenas in the highlands of Jalisco, La Gritona is made from fully mature agave, baked within 24 hours of harvest, slow-roasted in earthen ovens, rested, naturally fermented, and twice distilled. It spends 8 months in reused American whiskey barrels — just enough time to round it out without covering up the agave.

No heavy vanilla. No chocolate. No pepper bomb. Just clean, vegetal agave with a soft, almost silky finish and zero burn.

Bright, balanced, and made for toasting — but honestly good enough to sip.
