Maleza Flores Bitters

Maleza bitters are created through an extended extraction period, infusing heirloom corn-based alcohol with hand-processed botanicals obtained directly from farmers throughout Central and Southern Mexico. This concentrated botanical infusion is made with more than 15 plants, the majority endemic to Mexico. 

To use, add 10 to 20 drops to cocktails and other beverages to add flavors and aromatic notes. 

Maleza in Spanish means “undergrowth” reflecting Taller Astrafilia’s obsessive exploration of Mexico’s herbalist and culinary traditions to develop specialty products for cocktail making.

Base Alcohol: Native Corn Alcohol from Chiapas

Accent: Floral

Botanicals: cempasúchitl, purple toronjil, white toronjil, sweet mace, lavender, grapefruit, damiana, sage

45% abv.
