2022 is the second release of Chenin Blanc from Heringer Vineyard. This wine sees an extended aging period in the cellar to develop a creamy texture and nuanced character.

Nestled in the Sacramento River Delta, Clarksburg is well known for producing vibrant Chenin Blanc. This wine hails from a single vineyard there. To create complexity, the grapes were picked at different stages of ripeness, including one late season lot that was botrytized--the process by which grapes are affected by a fungus that results in a sweetness of greater intensity. The cooling breezes help to maintain fresh acidity, and warm sunny days allow for even ripening, with a final product yielding a citrus vibrancy, with notes of honey melon, pear and Meyer lemon.
