Made from Luxardo’s famed Marasca cherries, this is the real deal — not syrupy, not bright red, not a garnish. The cherries are harvested and infused with their leaves and branches in larch-wood vats, distilled in copper pot stills, then rested in ash-wood vats for depth and structure.
The result is clear and aromatic. Nutty and silky up front, with a lifted edge of orange marmalade, cocoa, and soft vanilla. There’s sweetness, but it’s restrained — balanced by a subtle bitterness that keeps it crisp.
Essential in classics like the Aviation, Last Word, and Martinez. Beautiful stirred into whiskey, bright with gin, or poured neat after dinner. Also quietly excellent over fruit, folded into whipped cream, or splashed into pastry and ice cream.
