Genepy

Genepy, more commonly known as wormwood, is famous as the primary alpine herb used to create Chartreuse. The flavor profile falls somewhere in between modern absinthe and chartreuse. It is pungent and herbaceous with a sweet mouth coating on the palate that transitions to a long, warming minty, candy cane, and lavender finish. It makes for an excellent digestif.
