Istine Vermouth Di Radda

This joint venture with winemaker Angela Fronti, known for her Chianti production under the label Istine, and the producers of Borida vermouth, yields an incredible result. Fronti’s wine is of course a Sangiovese base (the grape used to make Chianti) and this is a complex sipping vermouth that drinks like a bianco, fruit forward with some floral and fresh herbaceous notes, with a pleasant bitter-sweetness on the finish. The rose color comes from the grape skins, rather than the botanicals or any caramel.
