St. George Baller American Single Malt Whiskey

$64.00

100% American barley is used in this whiskey's creation. After distillation in eau de vie pot stills, the whiskey is then aged a minimum of 4 years in bourbon barrels and French oak wine casks before being filtered through maple charcoal. For the final step, the whiskey is finished in barrels that previously housed home-crafted umeshu (a Japanese-influenced liqueur made completely from California-grown ume fruit). The result is a whiskey that is fresh and dry with a hint of malt sweetness, plus a subtle smoky aftertaste that builds as you sip. Great for highballs (thus the title) and also in traditional cocktails such as the Bobby Burns, Rob Roy, and Boulevardier.

Aroma: pine and honeyed malt, with subtle woody smoke

Palette: noticeable smoke, with lemon peel and grilled peach to follow. The finish is plum and oak forward
