St. George Baller American Single Malt Whiskey
100% American barley (predominantly two-row pale malted barley, the rest is lightly roasted) is used in this whiskey's creation. Post distillation in eau de vie pot stills, the whiskey is then aged in once-used bourbon barrels and French oak vin casks, in addition to being filtered through maple charcoal. For the final step, the whiskey is finished in barrels that previously housed home-crafted umeshu (a Japanese-influenced liqueur made completely from California-grown ume fruit). The result is a whiskey that is fresh and dry with a hint of malt sweetness, plus a subtle smoky aftertaste that builds as you sip. Great for highballs (thus the title) and also in traditional cocktails such as the Bobby Burns, Rob Roy, and Boulevardier.
