Maloof L'eau Epicée' Sparkling Wine 2023

Maloof Wines is a husband-and-wife winery team based in Forest Grove, OR. They are dedicated to making wines full of energy, with the number one goal of truly capturing a place and time in each bottle. They work closely with farmers to achieve this goal, and consider them to be the true inspiration of their work. Maloof wines is focused on producing single vineyard wines of often overlooked or misunderstood white grape varieties, in addition to making some fun and funky Cuvées of all colors.

Riesling 70%, Gewürztraminer 30% (20% direct press, 10% skin contact). The fruit was sourced from an organically farmed 3.5 acre vineyard north of Chehalem Mountains, farmed by Onesimo Mora. The vines were planted in the 1990's and are own-rooted and dry farmed. 

Made in a rustic style akin to Col Fondo Prosecco. This "Spicy Water" has playful white flower, warm spice, and pineapple aromatics with great texture from the skin contact and fine bubbs.
