TEPOZAN ANEJO

Twenty five years ago, master distiller Don Carlos and his family planted their first agave in the Highlands of Jalisco Mexico with a plan to create a true farm-to-glass tequila.

“A strong house is built on a solid foundation” is the one quote you may hear from him directly. The rest he says, “speaks for itself”.

The location of the Tepozán distillery was chosen by means of a simple wire divining rod, revealing a natural mineral spring 405 meters under ground.

Today, Tepozán is one of the few tequilas on the market that is fully grown, processed, and bottled at the source.

Aroma: Honeyed and enticing. Key lime, basil, chipotle, dulce de leche. 

Taste: Bold and smooth. Butterscotch, serrano pepper, smoked earth, Mexican marigold, complex mid-palate. 

Finish: Lush and balanced. Nutty minerality, caramel, sweet piquant.
