"Lionesses," 2023

A blend of Ehrenfelser and Kerner, two Germanic white varieties rarely seen in the Willamette Valley, sourced from Satori Springs vineyard south of historic Oregon City. Grown in volcanic Jory soils, the grapes bring distinct saline mineral notes, with Ehrenfelser contributing orchard fruit and bright, linear acidity, and Kerner adding supple tropical fruit and a hint of spice. Raised primarily in stainless steel with one French oak barrel, this wine shares more in common with Bourgogne Aligoté or a fine Muscadet than a typical Oregon white.

Beautifully saline with restrained floral aromas, orange oil, nutmeg, and fennel, opening onto fresh-sliced Fuji apple, lemon curd, and cinnamon on the palate. Totally dry, with zero residual sugar.
