Old Hillside Founders Select Bourbon

Jessie Carpenter, Brian Burton, and Courtney Tucker, childhood friends, drew inspiration from Old Hillside, the oldest Historically Black high school in Durham, NC, and founded a whiskey in its honor. Their passion for bourbon and horse racing led to creating a brand commemorating the success of black jockeys before segregation. The Founder’s Select was designed as a limited-release bottle to commemorate the Founder's whiskey journey. This bourbon whiskey offers a distinct sweet vanilla and apple taste and finishes with the slight subtlety of flavors of oak.
