Ron Colon Salvadoreno Red Banana Oleo Rum
The inspiration for Ron Colón Salvadoreño Red Banana Oleo Rum came from red banana trees on a coffee farm in El Salvador. When their brand ambassador Steph DiCamillo created a global success for her cocktail company using RCS Dark Aged Rum, homemade banana oleo saccharum, chocolate, and tiki bitters, Eric van Beeck and Danil Nevsky showed them how to make a good banana oleo syrup and the soft and sweet bananas with a hint of raspberry were just perfect for that. So, the good RCS guys mixed their Dark Aged Rum with a maceration and distillate of dried bananas and fresh banana peels, plus some sugarcane syrup to make a crazy good Rum concoction.
