Baardseth Single Cru XO Cognac

Baardseth XO - limited release, rare Old Cognac, is made by family craftsmen dedicated to making only the very finest quality possible. Steeped in the traditions and production methods that have been handed down through generations, Baardseth XO is a true masterpiece among Cognacs.

A blend of Cognacs aged 10-20 years, exclusively selected for their great elegance, typical of this terroir. It is favored to age these Cognacs in humid, stable temperature cellars; carefully selecting specific "small grain" French Oak casks, with light toasting.

On the nose: powerful, overwhelming nose, showing a great complexity from the start with a perfectly aligned balance of minerality and dry fruit notes, prunes, a hint of crystallized citrus, blonde tobacco and humid cellar.

On the palate: as the aroma, great flavorful start combining fruitiness, minerality and delicious oxidized hints (typical cognac rancio). Nice, light, cigar box and old cellar hints adding some spiciness for a soft, smooth and long finish.
