Terah 2022 "Agua Fresca" Piquette
Terah Bajjalieh is a winemaker and certified sommelier born and raised in the Bay Area, California. Terah refined her unique style and found her love of wine by way of food and from her travels across the globe. She is a Level 2 Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master and holds the WSET Level 3 Award in Wine & Spirits.
Piquette is made by adding water to the leftover skins, seeds and stems of grapes that have been used to make wine and fermenting what's left of the sugars. This centuries-old method produces a fizzy, low alcohol spritzer.
The sparkling blend consists of Sangiovese, Pinot Noir. Chardonnay and Old Vine Muscat. This is the perfect brunch wine! Take it out for a park picnic, it’s refreshing in the heat and complex enough for a slow sipper.
